On May 26th, 1918, Georgia declared itself an independent democratic republic. On the same date in 1991, the country held its first presidential election.

And on May 26th, 2021, we opened our first concept store in Tbilisi.

Of course, we’re not comparing our store opening to the momentous events of the past. But there was a clear reason we chose to open the store on that specific day: freedom.

Freedom has always been a key tenet of ours. It’s what inspired us, drove us from day one. It’s the very principle on which we founded the company. So Independence Day was a natural fit for the vision of our new store.

Part art exhibition and part shopping experience, the store highlights Georgian talent and creativity. Our space in the heart of Tbilisi, an old wine factory dating back to 1896, is divided into two halves. One is a bold and vibrant space to showcase a range of shoes that fit our free, creative, and progressive ethos.

The other half is a gallery space that will feature installations from Georgian artists, offering them the exposure their skills deserve. This space will also allow us to hold social events to connect artists with the community around us, located as we are in a vibrant area of the city, surrounded by independent businesses and caring, free people.

CROSTY. For those that walk their own path, we’re here to support you.
